Eric Abrahams Bio
Their is so many Eric Abrahams Bios
out there. This Eric Abrahams Bio is for the Eric Abrahams
Fans that want the Facts.
Eric was born in Winnipeg in 1968. He
expressed a love of music from a very early age and was fascinated with
recording equipment from the age of 2, the family reel-to-reel recorder
being his favourite toy. When he took up drums at 8 years old, he had by
then completely confused and exasperated his sports-loving family. In
high school, he performed with the Silver Heights Collegiate Institute
Senior Jazz Band, which won top awards at the Canadian National Stage
Band Festival every year, and he also toured the US, England, Scotland,
and Wales with the band. In 1988, he took what became a 15-year hiatus
from the drum kit to pursue a recording career in Toronto, and in 1994
established his own recording and production company, Sounds Like Hell
Productions, which offers live and studio recording, mixing, mastering,
and audio restoration services. Eric took up drums once again in 2003,
and has been playing with Caribbean, country, blues, and alternative
rock bands since then. He auditioned for Falling Manic in November,
2006, and the connection with the other band members was immediate and
obvious. Influenced by diverse and great players such as John
Bonham, Neil Peart, and Bill
Bruford, Eric is a perfect fit for Falling Manic, laying down
thunderous grooves behind the spectacular talents of Pat
Bolahood on bass and Dwayne
Scott on guitar.
